Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Our organizations are looking for an administrative assistant to provide high-level administrative support to our team by handling a wide variety of tasks, ensuring efficient and smooth day-to-day operations. The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Confidentiality, exceptional customer service, team-player, and attention to detail are important qualifications for this position. The ideal candidate will also possess great verbal and written communications skills, confidence in making phone calls and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Chamber and EDC teams.

  • Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and enthusiasm.

  • Perform other administrative duties as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Positive attitude and a passion for serving the community.

Position Details:

  • Hours: Part-time (on-site), 9AM to 3PM with occasional evening events.

  • Location: Morton Chamber of Commerce 415 W Jefferson St, Morton, IL 61550

  • Compensation: $18.00 starting
