The Bakerpreneur (Customer Service & Marketing) Internship role at SweetWell is designed to give you a unique opportunity to learn both the art of baking and the essentials of business management. You’ll gain real-world leadership experience while mastering the skills to operate a fast-growing business.
As a Bakerpreneur (Customer Service & Marketing) Intern, you will:
Bake and manage daily operations: Work side by side with the SweetWell team to bake our signature cookies and lead shifts.
Participate in our 3-month leadership training through the SweetWell Leadership Academy to develop key business and entrepreneurship skills.
Manage a team: Assist in overseeing team members during shifts, managing workflow, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Learn business essentials: Gain experience in inventory management, scheduling, cost control, and staff management.
Work closely with senior management to understand the ins and outs of running a successful bakery business.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in baking, preparing, and delivering SweetWell's signature products.
Lead and motivate your team during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor inventory, place orders, and handle deliveries to ensure supplies are always available.
Help manage labor costs and staff scheduling.
Oversee customer interactions to ensure high levels of satisfaction and service.
Participate in the SweetWell Leadership Academy, focusing on entrepreneurial principles, financial management, and operations.
Collaborate with the general manager and management team to tackle operational challenges and drive performance improvement.
Skills You’ll Learn:

Requirements:
Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, or a related field.
Interest in learning the ins and outs of running a business, with a focus on the food industry.
Strong leadership potential, excellent communication skills, and a passion for both baking and business.

Responsibilities:
Read and understand Crumbl recipes
Measure and combine ingredients using mixers, ovens, and other equipment to make cookies
Decorating and displaying the finished product
Ensure finished goods meet food safety and quality controls
Greeting customers, answering questions, making recommendations, accepting orders and payment, and providing exceptional customer service
Cleaning and restocking the workstation and ensuring all equipment is sanitized

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.
