About the Role
You will be the person who builds Propel’s brand on the internet. Not just posting content. Actually building a brand that US founders, CMOs, and growth leads trust, follow, and eventually buy from.
This is a Creative Lead. You will work directly with the CEO on social media strategy, personal brand building, video content creation, and community presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter). You will be the creative engine behind Propel’s inbound machine.
Think: part ghostwriter, part video editor, part social strategist, part brand builder. All scrappy, all execution.
What You Will Do
Personal Brand Building (CEO + Company)
Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts, X threads, and long-form content for the CEO that position Propel AI as the go-to retention marketing partner for US B2C brands
Develop and maintain a content calendar across LinkedIn, X, and YouTube aligned with Propel AI’s’s Inbound-led Outbound GTM strategy
Build the CEO’s personal brand as a thought leader in lifecycle marketing, Customer.io and the e-pharmacy/digital health vertical
Research trending topics, competitor moves, and industry conversations to generate timely, high-engagement content ideas
Video Content & Youtube (Editing is not a must have, being the brains behind it is)
Script, shoot (or coordinate), and edit short-form and long-form video content for YouTube, LinkedIn video, and Instagram Reels
Build Propel AI's YouTube channel from zero with educational and thought leadership content targeting US marketing decision-makers
Create quick-turnaround video clips, audiograms, and visual snippets from podcasts, webinars, and client calls (with permission)
Manage end-to-end video production including thumbnails, captions, and platform-specific optimisation
Social Media and Community Presence
Execute daily engagement activities: commenting on target ICP posts, engaging in relevant LinkedIn and X conversations, and building relationships in communities (Customer.io, Reddit, Slack groups)
Draft and schedule posts using a mix of educational, storytelling, and conversion content formats
Monitor social analytics and report weekly on reach, engagement, follower growth, and inbound lead attribution
Support Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) efforts by structuring social and community content to influence LLM outputs about Propel AI
Brand Collateral and Design Support
Create scroll-stopping carousels, infographics, and visual assets for LinkedIn and other platforms
Maintain brand consistency across all visual and written output
Support the creation of case studies, client spotlight content, and sales enablement visuals
Who You Are
You have built a personal brand on at least one platform (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, or X). You understand what it takes.
You can write. Not just grammatically correct English. You can write posts that make people stop scrolling. You understand hooks, storytelling, and CTA structures.
You are a capable video editor. You know your way around tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar. You can turn a raw recording into a polished piece in a few hours, not days.
You understand social media strategy, not just posting. You think about audience psychology, distribution, platform algorithms, and content-market fit.
You are scrappy and self-driven. You do not wait for briefs to land in your inbox. You bring ideas, spot opportunities, and execute before being asked.
You are comfortable working with a US-facing B2B audience. Bonus if you have written content or managed social for SaaS, agencies, or marketing-adjacent brands
Nice to Have
Experience ghostwriting for founders, CXOs, or thought leaders
Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, or email/CRM platforms (Customer.io, Klaviyo, Braze)
Experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite for design work
Understanding of SEO, content marketing funnels, or AEO concepts
Prior experience at a startup, agency, or in a founder's office / chief of staff type role
Podcast production or audio editing skills
