Dream Factory Brooklyn is seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Podcast Manager to oversee the production of our podcast series. This role involves managing the entire podcasting process, from booking guests to editing soundtracks and uploading episodes to our podcast platform. As the Podcast Manager, you will play a key role in sharing our mission, amplifying inspiring stories, and connecting with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Podcast Production and Management:

   • Oversee the production of one podcast episode per month

   • Develop and maintain a content calendar for podcast episodes.
     

2. Guest Booking and Coordination:

   • Identify, research, and book engaging guests aligned with our mission.

   • Coordinate with guests to schedule recordings and ensure they are prepared for the episode.
     

3. Audio Editing and Quality Control:

   • Edit podcast recordings to ensure high-quality sound, removing background noise, pauses, or errors.

   • Add music, intros, outros, and any required sound effects to enhance the listening experience.
     

4. Publishing and Platform Management:

   • Upload completed episodes to our podcast hosting platform.

   • Write compelling episode titles and descriptions, ensuring alignment with the overall tone and mission.
     

5. Collaboration and Promotion:

   • Work with the marketing team to create promotional content for each episode (e.g., social media posts, email newsletters).

   • Track and analyze podcast metrics to measure success and identify areas for growth.
