Key Responsibilities:
Lead Content Strategy: Shape and guide the organization’s content direction, ensuring it supports our goals and resonates with our community.
Content Creation: Craft original, high-quality blog posts that spotlight our mission, showcase dream stories, address relevant social topics, and promote upcoming events and campaigns.
Email Marketing: Write impactful email newsletters and communications that update our audience, highlight successes, and drive engagement and donations.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with marketing, fundraising, and programming teams to align messaging across platforms and contribute to broader campaign efforts.
Editorial Oversight: Review and edit content produced by junior writers or interns, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with our brand voice.
Brand Voice Leadership: Refine and maintain Dream Factory of Brooklyn’s tone, ensuring all written materials reflect our values of hope, compassion, and empowerment.
SEO Optimization: Apply SEO best practices to maximize content visibility and engagement.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of professional content writing experience.
Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a strong portfolio showcasing versatility and depth.
